Draw a signature

How to use it

Sign on the pad, pick your ink and stroke, and press Save. A transparent PNG drops into the tray. Because the background is transparent, you can place it over a PDF or a contract and only the ink shows, with nothing boxing it in.

Works with a finger. On a phone or a tablet the pad draws under your finger, which usually gives a more natural signature than a mouse. Turn the phone sideways for more room.

Good to know

This is a drawn image, not a certified e-signature. It is perfect for signing off on a document, a form, or a note. It is not a cryptographic or legally certified digital signature, which is a different thing that binds a signature to a specific document and signer.

Clear starts over. There is no undo of individual strokes in this simple version; Clear wipes the pad so you can sign again.

Check for yourself that nothing is sent anywhere

You don't have to take our word for it. Every browser has a built-in panel that shows everything a page sends or receives over the internet. On a computer (this doesn't work on a phone):

1. Press F12, or right-click anywhere on this page and choose Inspect.
2. In the panel that opens, click the Network tab.
3. Now use the tool: sign the pad and press Save PNG.
4. Watch the Network list. Nothing appears, because the image is drawn and saved entirely on your own computer.
