Resize an image

Exact pixels or a percentage, done in your browser. The photo never leaves your machine, and there is no watermark and no account.

How it works

Drop in a JPG, PNG, or WebP, type the width or height you need (or a percentage), and save the result. Locking the aspect ratio keeps the proportions of the original; unlock it to stretch to exact dimensions.

Good to know

Enlarging loses sharpness. Going bigger than the original can't add detail — it interpolates. For print or zoom, start from the largest original you have.

PNG keeps transparency, JPG doesn't. Converting a transparent PNG to JPG fills the background with white. Need a smaller file at the same dimensions? Use the Image Compressor.

Check for yourself that nothing is uploaded

You don't have to take our word for it. Every browser has a built-in panel that shows everything a page sends or receives over the internet. On a computer (this doesn't work on a phone):

  1. Press F12, or right-click anywhere on this page and choose Inspect.
  2. In the panel that opens, click the Network tab.
  3. Now use the tool: drop in a photo and press Resize image.
  4. Watch the Network list while it works. Nothing appears, because your photo is never sent anywhere. All the work happens on your own computer.
